1. TALENT BEAT is open to female and male participants aged 13 - 24 years (as on 3 September 2009)
2. Participants may enter multiple categories for individuals (no additional entry fee)
3. Participants may enter individually and in a group (max 10 members), but group entries should be completed separately and a separate entry fee is payable for the group.
4. Participants entering the categories Singing or Musical Instruments (individual), should supply accompaniment, either live backing or a backing track.
5. All participants must arrive at the auditions in costume and will be required to perform a pre-rehearsed entertaining talent number of their choice on stage (dimensions ± 6m x 6m). Duration of performance between 1min 30 sec and 2min.
6. Music must be provided on CD only and will be faded by the sound operator as per time limit. NB! All CD cases should be marked clearly with participants name, type of performance (e.g. song), track number and exact duration of performance (point where operator should fade music, e.g. 1min 37 sec).as well as the following very important information pertaining to music rights: song title, performing artist, songwriter/composer, translator/arranger (if any), publisher, recording company.
7. The following Yamaha instruments will be set up at auditions:P140 stage piano,

  • Stage Custom drum kit,
  • Crate GTX212 guitar amplifier,
  • Ampec SV350 bass guitar amplifier,
  • CA125 acoustic amplifier.

Finalists must be available for rehearsals (time to be advised after auditions).
